Working Together

Public Involvement

People affected by dementia are at the heart of everything we do. The EquaDem Network Plus works in partnership with members of the public, carers, and people with lived experience to shape research, guide decision-making, and ensure our work reflects real-world needs.

Shaping Our Research

Public Consultation Group

Our Public Consultation Group helps guide the direction of the EquaDem Network Plus by sharing perspectives, reviewing proposals, and ensuring our activities are meaningful and inclusive.

The group brings together people living with dementia, carers, community representatives, and professionals to discuss research priorities and highlight the barriers faced in diagnosis and care.

Collaborative Approach

Co-Production in Action

Co-production is central to how we design and deliver our research. By working side by side with people who have lived experience, we ensure that our studies, events, and materials are relevant and respectful.

This approach builds trust and helps produce insights that genuinely improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers.
